Summary: The school plan process began in August when each site received the timeline and template. Phase one consisted of each site reviewing their SBAC and Benchmark data and completing their annual update to evaluate their Title I program. The Assessment, Research and Evaluation Department supported the sites through the evaluation process.

Phase two consisted of writing improvement plans to address student needs based on the data reviewed. Plans were written to address English Language Arts, Math, English Learners, Parent Involvement and Professional Development. The Curriculum
Department and Educational Support provided guidance and feedback during this phase of the process.

The final phase included additional forms that require specific information such as; School Site Council Membership, budgetary forms, and signature pages. Education Support staff provided technical support during this time.

In addition, Comprehensive Support & Improvement (CSI) site(s) received additional support from the Educational Support Services Department and the San Joaquin Department of Education to develop a goal to improve student outcomes.

Recommendation: Staff recommends approval of Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) for all Title I sites and Comprehensive Support & Improvement (CSI) site(s).
