Summary: On June 27, 2018, Resolution 2017-51, the Board of Education of Lodi Unified School District authorized staff to advertise and receive bids, as required by law, to furnish labor, material, tax, transportation, equipment and services required for the Lockeford Elementary School Parking/Drop-Off Improvement Project. On March 7, 2019, the District received five (5) bids. The lowest bidder was Western Engineering Contractors, Inc. of Loomis, California, in the amount of $700,000.00. Approval of this Resolution certifies the Award of Contract to Western Engineering Contractors, Inc. The total amount to be budgeted is $700,000.00, which includes a $135,000.00 District controlled construction allowance.
Funding: Funding will come from Fund 40 & Measure U.
Recommendation: It is recommended the Board of Education adopt Resolution 2019-35.
